- Set up measurement locations and collect data on routine and non-routine machinery condition monitoring using data collectors and web-based machinery databases with guidance and support from Oceaneering consultancy team.
- Improve the collection of data by recognizing bad collection indicators in the data, such as ski slopes, data fluctuations, and missing data.
- Provide assistance with the analysis of baseline data and the production of the detailed baseline report.
- Ensure that all data collected is analyzed and reported.
- Assist with ongoing maintenance of machinery database.
- Provide assistance to Oceaneering trainees in the collection and analysis of Condition Monitoring data.
- Identify and report problems with machines and recommend actions in a timely manner.
- Gather data as needed for troubleshooting potential failures of rotating equipment.
- The job holder will have to perform tasks that are reasonable within the scope of the post in addition to those on the list; the list is not exclusive or exhaustive.
- Assist with any other duties as needed

- This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
- A delivery manager is functionally responsible for the position.
- Operationally, this position will report directly to the Senior Inspection Engineer at the site and be closely supervised by the Senior Consultant Engineer.
- The candidate must be trained in or accredited in Level 2 Vibration Analysis (BINDT or equivalent) (E)
- HND qualification in Engineering Discipline (P)
- Significant experience in Mechanical Engineering, from which a significant portion has been spent on Condition Monitoring and rotating equipment engineering/maintenance. (E)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat PDF
- Good communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to generate a team approach to problem solving (E)
- Mechanical or Electrical Industry recognised qualification
- During the day or occasionally at night, they can be based in the office or outdoors
- Exposure to airborne dust in the workplace occasionally
- Occasional exposure to noise over 85 dB
- Lift up to 20 pounds
