Job Description:
Its Role
You will report to the Head of Product and work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and innovation teams to improve the safety, performance, and user experience of our light electric vehicle
You will report to the Head of Product and work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and innovation teams to improve the safety, performance, and user experience of our light electric vehicle
You'll do:
- Developing and testing mechatronic systems (mechanics + electronics + software) for structural vibration control
- Collecting, analyzing and proposing new projects based on sensor, networking, and positioning data from the vehicles
- Concepts for improving and innovating existing/new products
- Work on innovation projects and prototype cutting-edge technologies to improve vehicle safety, performance, and user experience
- Translate technical requirements into product design and component selection by understanding users' needs
- Support the whole product development process, from ideation, simulation, prototyping, and testing to series production and delivery
- Using fundamental physics first principles, a strong approach to solving problems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
- A minimum of three years' experience in mechatronic projects (industrial or academic)
- Knowledge of fundamental physics/engineering principles
- I am interested in sensor fusion, control systems design, computer vision and machine learning
- Experience in mechanics, electronics, and data analysis and programming
- Experience with ARM microcontrollers or similar devices
- For effective interaction with the back-end engineering team in China, you must be able to communicate in Chinese
- ROS experience is a plus
- Communication skills and teamwork skills are excellent
- Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus
