Job Description:

Organizing Unit/Division

  • Our Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team, located in Milpitas, CA, consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. Our GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products. Our comprehensive services include proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance, expertise in optics, image processing, and motion control with worldwide service engineers and 24/7 technical support teams; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs highly complex semiconductor capital equipment at customers' wafer fabrication facilities
  • Liaises closely with engineers from other functions to resolve multifaceted problems
  • Coordinates equipment schedules to minimize downtime
  • Conducts customer orientations and technical trainings on all aspects of equipment maintenance for users
  • Prepares field service reports on customer support activities
  • Documents recurring problems for other supporting functions
  • Performing above tasks at various locations (including overseas sites) within short notice

The requirements
  • Mechanical/Mechanical/Electrical/EEE Bachelor's or Master's Degree
  • This is an entry-level position
