Job Description:
To lead our branch in Oman, we are seeking an experienced professional.
What you do
- Specifically, you will be responsible for building, leading, and streamlining the Branch Team in order to develop Kuehne+Nagel's business in the nominated area.
- Management of Oman branch operations and full P&L responsibility
- Active involvement with major accounts for the branch in conjunction with regional/national management and local sale
- Resolve day-to-day operational problems in conjunction with Operations/Sale
- Working closely with the company's financial controller to ensure that all financial and accounting responsibilities are met
- Reporting of the company's financial situation to the Regional Management in accordance with Kuehne+Nagel's reporting guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Experience in the freight forwarding industry, preferably in Oman, of at least 8 years
- A minimum of 2-5 years of leadership experience is required, as well as experience leading virtual teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- It is mandatory to be fluent in English. The ability to speak Arabic would be considered an advantage
