This role requires strong program management skills, as well as the ability to drive data-driven discussions with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. In addition to having exceptional analytical, planning, and written/verbal communication skills, the ideal candidate will have experience in forecasting, sales and operations planning, and inventory management.
Job Description:
- Implement robust processes to enhance medium/short-term forecasting with the goal of minimizing costs and maximizing customer/seller satisfaction
- Frugal and innovative solutions are required to support business growth in constrained environments
- Make existing processes more scalable by identifying and implementing tools/automation
- Implement best practices from other geographies/companies to minimize supply chain losses from end to end
- Use exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence business, operations, and technical audiences
- Program manage and drive decision making across cross functional teams and senior leadership
- A candidate must be independent and flexible with solid communication skills and a strong customer focus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to own and follow through on issues
- Candidates must have a basic understanding of Supply Chain and Planning from work experience or coursework
- Basic understanding of SQL, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and basic programming skills
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as an operations/planning manager
- An engineering degree, a master's degree in management, or an MBA.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
