Job Description:
Maintenance/installation of generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS) and power generation equipment is the responsibility of the Generator Technician. Technicians must possess the knowledge, the experience, and excellent communication skills. In order to provide the level of service required and expected by the customer, the technician will assume the leadership role for any issues involving power or generators with customer satisfaction as the primary objective.
Among the responsibilities of this position are:
- Support for power generation equipment: all maintenance functions, repairing and replacing major components, troubleshooting fuel, electrical or engine problems
- Support for Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS): maintenance, repair, and replacement of major components, troubleshooting electrical and electronic issues
- The UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) integration support includes maintenance functions, repairs, replacement of major components, and troubleshooting electrical and/or electronic issues.
- Documentation of system issues and their resolution
Requirements for the job:
- Secret clearance active
- Passport that is valid
- Experience of 5+ years
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining power generation equipment
- Troubleshooting and maintaining the ATS for power systems
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining UPS systems
- You have experience with electrical systems
- Responsible for inventory, shipping and receiving replacement parts
