Job Description:
- Maintains the quality of image data in accordance with protocols and standards, including technical adequacy, by:
- Assessing the clarity and quality of image data
- Monitoring compliance with project protocol requirements for image data
- Whenever needed, generating query images
- Identifying quality issues with Sponsor/Site and working with the therapeutic team to resolve them
- Supporting the archiving of completed project data
- The following additional image analysis functions may be required:
- Performing image processing demonstrations for clients or colleagues
- Prepare images for client and/or agency submission
- Identify and communicate project requirements related to the image quality review (IQR) process
- Evaluating potential clinical research sites and making sure information regarding personnel, equipment and imaging protocols as well as data archival capabilities are accurate
- Providing technical support for imaging-related issues
- Educating site personnel on Image Acquisition Protocols, Data Archiving Procedures, and Data Transmittal Procedures including completion of form(s) to commence the study or begin technical services
- Developing and implementing study-related forms
- Contributing to the development of imaging guidelines and manuals
- Conducting Site Surveys and assisting in their revision
- Maintains departmental standards through quality service
- Following organisational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and understanding them
- Implementing departmental standards by helping to establish them
- Participation in user acceptance testing for new tools and software enhancements
- Contributing to the modification of the company's IQR SOPs
