Infra Can is growing rapidly. Our team assists our clients with their most challenging projects across Ontario, Quebec, and across Canada. You have projects to complete. We are looking for a Senior Environmental Project Manager to work in our offices in Toronto or Montreal. You will be responsible for designing and managing infrastructure projects in the Rail, Highway, Water and Wastewater markets.

Responsibilities:

• Managing municipal environmental assessments and plans.
• Conducting environmental reviews of major infrastructure projects, including transportation, water, and major civil projects
• Identifying the best methods and programs for environmental approvals as well as stakeholders engagement.
• The process of managing the input of specialists into enterprise architecture projects.
• Promoting environmental planning through business development efforts
• Assisting with the preparation of presentations and other high-quality project deliverables
• Represent Arup at public meetings and prepare and deliver effective public presentations.
• The development of marketing leads, the preparation of marketing proposals and materials, and the representation of Arup at interviews
• Assume fiscal responsibility for projects, manage relationships with clients, and manage staff and subconsultants.
• Managing, mentoring, and leading junior staff

Qualifications:

• A degree in civil engineering, environmental planning, city planning, or a closely related field
• The following designations are preferred: P Eng, OIQ, MCIP, RPP
• Over 15 years of relevant professional experience, including recent experience (3+ years) in environmental assessments in Ontario and/or Quebec.
• Knowledge of all of the government's environmental regulations
• Demonstrated experience in consulting to government, state, and municipal clients
• It is helpful if you have experience in planning and developing infrastructure
• Served as a project manager
• Developed relationships with environmental assessment specialists (archaeology, heritage, ecology, etc.).
• The ability to speak French is desirable in Toronto and necessary in Montreal
