Your Challenge

The Systems Test Architect position provides the successful candidate with an immediate opportunity to be involved with the development of innovative technology that is helping to save lives, improve patient outcomes and reduce the cost of healthcare across the globe. As a part of the Ultrasound Business Group Platform Architecture team, you will be challenged to create a new generation diagnostic ultrasound imaging.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy for product testing during initial development and continued support through product enhancement.
  • Leverage your knowledge of subsystems and interfaces between them as well as overall system function to plan testing at different levels through development and manufacturing.
  • Focus areas may include system performance test design, design of test automation, test coverage optimization, test automation.
  • Work closely with software, hardware, verification and other engineers to architect and implement the best testing approaches.
  • Stay current with industry technologies and help select those technologies best suited to the application and create roadmaps for evolution of existing test technologies and tools.

This role will be a part of the Ultrasound Platform Development team in Bothell, WA.

We are Looking For
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, MS a plus
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Software test tools and testing methodologies
  • Electronics testing strategies and testing tools
  • Knowledge of electronics industry technologies and trends
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment
  • Experience in product quality and reliability
Preferred
  • Experience as a test engineer or design engineer for software/hardware products
  • Test Engineering or software engineering background or automation design
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. Candidates need to live within commuting distance to Bothell, WA
