As an Early Career Trainee Field Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives, ensuring Customer Satisfaction, and maintaining all equipment models that are specific to a modality or modalities in the assigned area. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that Customer Satisfaction is achieved.

Job Description
  • Contract with a Fixed Term: 1 Year

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions include:

- Collaborating with seasoned field engineers on basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair needs pertaining to selected pieces of equipment.

- Carrying Out Inspections For Both Preventative Maintenance And Functional Management

- Taking orders for replacement parts and controlling their cycle times.

- Being on top of administrative duties, such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, and ensuring that you are up to date on all of them.

- The ability to interact effectively with consumers in order to guarantee problem resolution and appropriate follow-up, which ultimately results in satisfied customers

- Ensuring that all of the tools and testing equipment are in good working order and that they have been calibrated.


Quality Specific Goals:

Aware of and compliant with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and any other applicable laws and regulations insofar as they relate to this work type or position. Finish all of the planned Quality & Compliance training before the deadlines that have been established. Locate and quickly communicate any and all issues with the quality or compliance of the customer's product or service to the Quality Organization. Locate and quickly communicate to the Quality Organization any personal concerns regarding quality or compliance you may have. Ensure that a timely dispatch closing is achieved. Make sure that all of the field modifications instructions (FMIs) are finished within the allotted amount of time. Take part in activities aimed at continuous improvement by locating and reporting issues with the quality of both the process and the product in a timely manner, as well as offering alternative solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- A four-year degree in either electrical and electronics engineering or biomedical engineering is required.

- Capable of performing analytical work of a technical nature.

- Proficient level of English

- Superior Customer Service Abilities; Capacity to Handle Dissenting Opinions with Diplomacy and Efficiency; Ability to Influence Rather Than Direct Others

Preferred Qualifications:

- A maximum of two years of experience in Field Services.

- Looked to by other people for direction and counsel.
