Job Description:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers by maintaining a high level of professionalism and knowledge of our products and services with a focus on inside sales and cross selling functions.

- Maximize the Customer’s overall experience by providing consistent technical and commercial support in a timely manner.
- Handle inbound customer correspondences (phone calls, e-mails) in a timely manner, including:
- Promptly communicate to customer by phone/e-mail any issues related to P.O.’s and/or Quotations
- Acknowledge Orders to customers in a timely manner:
- goal within 24 hours; 48 maximum
- Troubleshoot various commercial and technical issues
- Issue/process RMA’s in a timely manner
- Communicate to customer by phone/e-mail any issues related to P.O.’s and/or Quotations
- Understand technical and commercial aspects of both ThermOmegaTech and BBQ Guru Product lines, including:
- Technical features and operation of products;
- Product applications in the field
- Styles and brands of all smoker/grill manufacturers’
- Develop a general sense for our products – reading literature, training by engineering and Product Managers, spending time in manufacturing
- Enter sales orders/purchase orders – review for accuracy in price, delivery, terms, part/model numbers versus description against what was quoted and/or published specifications; Communicate inaccuracies to customer and resolve discrepancies
- Set up new accounts – work with accounting to determine credit worthiness, payment terms, credit limit and any other considerations
- Dispatch all orders, end of day batching, manually close orders as necessary
- Work with Shipping and CH Robinson to coordinate shipments
- Check Amazon and Walmart orders, Amazon syncing to Syspro for BBQ products
- Track open orders to ensure expected delivery is on time; expedite purchase orders that have the potential of being late, bring to the attention of management when necessary for consideration of adjusting priorities
- Develop and follow-up on all quotations for customers
- Utilize CRM system when appropriate to track strategic orders
- Assist in training new team members where appropriate
- Provide general administrative support and other duties as required
- Gather market and account intelligence from customers and capture it in Zendesk or similar tools
- Upsell existing customers by recommending complimentary company products that meet their requirements
- Working with appropriate teams for new product development
- Engage in VOC (voice of customer) outreach to provide feedback to sales and marketing team members.
- Sales Support for Sales Management and Product Managers – examples of typical tasks listed below:
- Work with product managers to help better understand our customers’ needs
- Provide feedback to Marketing to determine campaign effectiveness
- Administer the Customer Survey Program and analyze data
- Update metric reports

- High School Diploma/GED; or some related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets product technical procedures and standards. Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. . Excel, Word and general computer knowledge is strongly recommended.
