- Create new products for sample collection, storage, stabilization, and processing.
- Create and implement protocols for the validation and verification of products.
- Analyze and interpret data to gain insights into a project's progress.
- Make recommendations to the team leader on the next steps for the assigned projects. 5. Keep current with project-related literature and apply relevant findings to ongoing research projects.
- Participate in multifaceted projects in collaboration with other members of the R&D team.
- Technical support for incoming customer inquiries.
- Working closely with internal subject matter experts, product managers, application and marketing teams, and manufacturing on sample collection and stabilization products.
- The presentation will be made to upper-level management, to the technical review committee, and to marketing and sales.
- An MS degree or a BS in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or related disciplines (e.g. chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science) with some emphasis in the fields of medicine or biology.
- Working knowledge of Solidworks or similar CAD software.
- Experience designing, executing, analyzing, documenting, and troubleshooting design projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Microsoft Office products knowledge.
