This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading complex instruments.
- Assist with a variety of engineering tasks
- As part of our R&D team, you will contribute to improving and further developing our products
- Help troubleshoot, assemble, and retrofit prototypes, as well as work with electrical and mechanical devices, electrical wiring, fluidics components, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Assist with engineering-related studies, processes, designs, inspections and/or quality audits, as well as gather, record and maintain engineering-specific information.

- Diagnostic Healthcare instrumentation is familiar to you.
- If you have worked in an FDA-regulated field,
- You have good computer skills (MS Office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Troubleshooting is your specialty, and you can distinguish between hardware, software, and system issues.
- It is expected that you are willing to travel, including short-term international deployments
- If your customers have instrument issues, you can work with them to resolve them.
- You have very good presentation skills in the customer environment, and you exhibit team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation
Required skills to have for the success of this role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Biomedical engineering
- Working in an R&D environment with at least two years' experience as a system troubleshooter
- Siemens Healthcare Diagnostic equipment experience
- Travel up to 20%, including international travel.
