Device Engineer (Evergreen) JR1111
You will be responsible for identifying the quality and reliability challenges associated with high performance CMOS devices and developing solutions to those challenges as a Device Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. As a Device Engineer, you will work closely with manufacturing fabs and product quality teams to establish, monitor, and improve wafer level quality indicators. A strong understanding of Advanced CMOS Device Engineering, Semiconductor Process Integration, Semiconductor Device Reliability, and Statistical Quality Control is required.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying challenges and driving solutions for high performance CMOS devices.
- Understanding failure modes and failure rates within the scope of product qualification.
- Establish, implement, and monitor quality indicators to achieve best-in-class quality.
- Managing, scheduling, and leading quality improvement initiatives to improve key quality indicator metrics to achieve best in class
- Assess risk at all decision points within the qualification cycle.
- Resolving quality and reliability issues by identifying the root cause of deviations and engaging the problem-solving team
- Excursion material disposition expertise and support
- Deployment of new technology nodes in collaboration with R&D.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree or PhD with 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Material Science or Microelectronics.
- Knowledge of Advanced CMOS Device Engineering, Process Integration, and Statistical Quality Control.
- Experience with 28nm logic processes or beyond is a plus.
- Product failure modes and intrinsic reliability failure mechanisms are well understood.
- Project management and problem-solving skills are excellent.
