Job Description:
The Team:
FIG Product Management is responsible for the data, analytics and workflow solutions for clients focused on the financial institutions sector. This team owns the product vision, designs incremental product improvements, and partners with commercial teams and clients to bring those solutions to market.
The Impact:
This role will support the evolution of S&P Global’s industry-leading FIG offering. This solution is a must-have tool used by the largest investment banks and industry regulators to the smallest community financial institutions. Our data and solutions help shape the markets of the future.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the growth of the FIG product offering across all our delivery channels by contributing to the product roadmap, capturing and prioritizing requirements, and helping define the go-to-market strategy. Key activities include:
- Provide insight into upcoming regulatory changes, industry dynamics, and economic shifts as a leading provider of FIG data
- Enhance the FIG offering to add value to its end users by suggesting specific product improvements
- Act as a US Financial Institution fundamentals subject matter expert for commercial and our clients in relation to FIG data and workflows
- Assist agile scrum teams by creating user stories, wireframes, and acting as product owner
- Implementing SAFe and Agile frameworks in conjunction with the technical teams
- Executing critical projects
- Develop thought leadership, webinars, models, and more in partnership with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Insight, Product Operations, Modeling, etc.).
What We're Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the financial sector with a focus on the banking sector
- BA/BS in finance, economics, business mathematics, technology, or a related field
- Enrollment in the CFA program is highly recommended
- Work experience of at least five years
- Communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to initiate, define, and execute key initiatives
- Capable of working in a team setting and delivering results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in finance, bank regulation, or related discipline
- A working knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets or financial reporting.
- Excel and VBA skills are a must
