- As part of HSBC's WPB Digital Strategy, markets are building their local digital teams and capabilities in order to build world-class digital products and features as well as ensure we maximize customer engagement through digital channels and employees.
- Assist the User Experience & Design team as well as wider Digital teams by creating clear, elegant English (possibly in other native languages as well), with suitable communication for international audiences from a wide variety of backgrounds, for all devices supported by the global operation.

- Produce high-quality and accurate copy across print, digital, and social channels.
- Support the creation of marketing- and service-related digital messaging while adhering to rigid guidelines and restrictions.
- Produce long- and short-form copy as needed
- New services and propositions meet key KPIs for sales, servicing and satisfaction
- Deliveries within scope, budget, and timelines
- Scores for usability
- Speed to market and process optimization
- Communicate effectively, manage performance, develop plans, and reward and recognize employees.
- Develop an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
- Establish well-defined recruitment plans, identifying key milestones and assigning responsibilities/resources as needed

- Having experience with customer focused organizations in disciplines such as digital, design, or product management, as well as leadership skills motivating and inspiring others to succeed
- Copywriting qualifications in English or equivalent
- Experience with User Centred Design and its practical application
- Expert in best practices for writing for the web
- Knowledge of user experience and web best practices
- Multichannel content creation experience (web, print, mobile, tablet)
- A working knowledge of prototyping tools, Photoshop basics, and word processing
- Channel expertise, including technical, commercial, market, and customer considerations
- Innovative - the ability to approach problems differently or do things differently to achieve goals
- To explain complex or technical issues, you need strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Managing a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities requires good relationship management skills
- Good time management and prioritization of tasks and projects
- Experience working with agencies, especially for usability testing
- Self-motivation and high levels of resilience.
