IBA Proton therapy Center will be located in the city-state of Singapore at the Mount Elisabeth Novena hospital. The Proton Therapy Center will be equipped with a S2C2 accelerator and Compact Gantry with PBS dedicated nozzle, CBCT, Leoni PPS, Philips Ambient Experience.

Job Description

As a Proton Therapy Service Engineer PMS (Positioning Management System), you play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. The Proton Therapy site in Navi Mumbai requires you to install, operate, calibrate, and maintain a broad range of IBA equipment and technical tools. The positioning devices and the X-ray patient alignment system will be your primary areas of expertise. As a specialist in cancer treatment solutions, you will represent IBA with your expertise

Challenges we will trust you with:

• As the Proton Therapy System (PTS) operator, you will be responsible for: Patient Treatment, Patient Specific Quality Assurance, Development, Software Testing, Troubleshooting, and experimentation;
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues with PTS equipment;
• The PTS is maintained, including but not limited to preventative maintenance and curative maintenance;
• The customer as well as IBA employees are informed of the status of the system;
• You provide support for software testing and new developments;
• Providing support to the clinical staff as defined by the specific site manager;
• As defined by the specific facility, you must maintain adequate records;
• This will include but not be limited to: installation, unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and other various site related activities as defined by the site manager.

Profile

You have:

• A Master degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering. The candidate should have a strong mechanical background.
• A strong asset is experience with medical devices installation and troubleshooting, such as CT/MRI or Linacs;
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience in mechanics/electrical/electronic system troubleshooting, mechanical system design and repair, and operations of large systems.
• An advantage would be good oral and written skills in English, Hindi and Maharathi

• Open to working in shifts and during some weekends if needed
