Position Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Program Engineer based in either Malaysia, Thailand or Vietnam. In this role, the Global Service Center will be responsible for the overall direction of the position. To support safety, capacity, and efficiency in the aviation industry, he or she will provide fleet support and guidance on aircraft systems to our airline customers. Also, he or she will provide training to customers and support Boeing Products and Boeing Initiatives, and be able to facilitate discussions in multiple languages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support maintenance engineer SMEs and train airlines on maintenance program development and evolution
- Instructor for our airline customers' workshops (based on expertise, it could be reliability, maintenance planning document, MSG-3, or production planning and control)
- Solve or facilitate the resolution of customer problems. Provide advice on maintenance and packaging programs.
- Work with airline clients to resolve or facilitate operational issues, evaluate customer data to improve effectiveness or reliability, and support entry into service on maintenance programs as needed.
- Assist with Boeing products including Toolbox, Airplane Health Management, Onboard Network System, etc.
- Utilize project management skills to support special projects in a variety of subjects. Capable of coordinating with various stakeholders and internal teams in the United States.
- Conversant with an airline's management and high level personnel and able to address questions and concerns in a confident manner
Experience:
- 8 years Airline Experience (Bachelor degree) or 5 years Airline Experience (Master degree) with a minimum of 3 years in a fleet engineering management position
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills):
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Develop, tailor, deliver and revise the training material with up to date industry information and airline customers’ needs
- Present relevant training to customers both in English.
- Very broad IT skills and engineering knowledge to support Toolbox, OMP and other Boeing software products
Airline engineering management knowledge in the areas of:
- MSG Analysis, MRBR procedure and process, aircraft maintenance program and reliability program.
- Schedule maintenance related manuals and documentations.
- Aircraft and propulsion system function and principle.
- Local regulatory authority regulations.
Problem Solving:
Support customer airlines in providing technical advice on a wide range of issues.
Major achievements include:
- Delivering maintenance engineering training to airlines and local regulatory authority
- Provide technical and engineering support
- Provide guidance for airline maintenance programs, reliability management and Production Planning and Control
- Providing on-site support and consultation for individual airlines, and developing tools and procedures to support the process
Work Authorization:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country/region where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.

This position offers one time relocation based on candidate eligibility.
