Role: Data Analyst ICQA (m/f)

Amazon is a highly data driven company highly obsessive about metrics. The Data analysts play a crucial role in creating unique reports from data available in multiple locations and providing vital insights into the root cause of quality defects and inventory adjustments. ICQA Data Analyst will work closely with the operations teams in Inbound, Outbound and ICQA to provide data and analytical support for the business.

• Developing processes and systems for collecting data and managing it
• Designing queries, compiling data, and generating reports using, for example, MS Access and Excel
• Graphing and charting data for reporting purposes
• Research on defect trends in depth
• Collecting and entering data as needed
• Using data mining to solve problems
• Present analysis in standardized reports that are easily digestible
• Interpreting data trends for the leadership team as needed
• Reports on inventory quality should be prepared and published
• Supporting ICQA Team Projects
• Assist in the role of Process Assistant
• Develop Tableau and SQL dashboards to automate analysis

Basic Qualification:

• Analytical mindset
• Work with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Skills in Data Mining and Problem Solving
• Expertise in Data Warehouse reporting and query design, ability to query web sources
• Microsoft Excel and Access proficient
• Analytical, math, data analysis, listening, and communication skills
• Writing and speaking English well

Preferred Qualification:

• Development of tools, data collection processes, and data management systems
• Understanding of Amazon systems and fulfillment center processes
• Expertise in SQL (advanced), Oracle, Ruby on Rails, and HTML
• Proven ability to work productively and efficiently in an independent setting
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with managers and associates at all levels
• Strong understanding of business objectives and a global perspective
• Work with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with Tableau
