About the role:
Our team is looking for a great Go developer who understands how to leverage and exploit the language's unique paradigms, idioms, and syntax. Developing scalable and maintainable Go packages and programs will be your primary focus. Ensure these Go packages and programs are well documented and have a reasonable test coverage. Collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are essential.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in software development for at least three years
- Programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms of Go
- Understanding of common Goroutine and channel patterns
- Ability to write clear and concise GDOC comments
- Experience with code versioning tools
- A strong advantage is having experience in system architecture or leading a software team
- Availability full-time is a strong advantage
Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools, including:
- Dependency management tools such as Godep, Sltr, etc.
- Go’s templating language
- Go’s code generation tools, such as Stringer
- Popular Go web frameworks, such as Revel
- Router packages, such as Gorilla Mux
