How will you make an impact?

As a member of a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and software engineers, you will develop cutting-edge genetic sequencing technologies that will make a difference to people around the world. Your efforts will directly affect the outcomes of cancer patients, accelerate cancer research, and enhance the tracking of emerging viruses

What will you do?

• Improve Ion Torrent Next Generation Sequencing technologies
• Participate in the development of instruments from early stage feasibility to commercialization
• Conduct wet lab experiments, summarize data, and present findings
• Automate workflows by writing computer programs

How will you get there?

Education/Experience:

• M.S .or Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related fields.
• Research experience in biological fields. Candidates with no work experience in industry will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• The most important skills are creativity and problem-solving
• Skills in data analysis
• Programming skills in Python or another language
• Knowing the basics of PCR and DNA sequencing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
