Overview:
We are looking for entry level Engineers to join CVI and start in our engineering job rotation program. As a new engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn about all the engineering areas that support manufacturing before settling into one specific area.
Responsibilities:
Every six months, new hires will rotate through three departments in this 18-month program. Rotations will be based on degree/discipline and CVI's needs. At the end of every rotation, new members and management will submit an evaluation, which will help us determine the best fit for each new engineering member at the end of the 18-month rotation period. Depending on the department, responsibilities and duties may vary. Throughout all departments, this position's main purpose is to support CVI's manufacturing needs, which could include hands-on experience working with equipment, troubleshooting and analyzing process problems, design/redesign work, and many other engineering aspects.

- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline with 0-2 years experience with an interest in the manufacturing environment.
- Project management skills, analytical skills, and problem solving skills are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within agreed upon timelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are required, as well as the ability to effectively communicate to all levels within an organization.
- Self-starter, results-oriented, energetic, and proactive.
- Hands-on experience is preferred, or a desire to be hands-on.
- The engineer may be required to meet the ITAR definition of “U.S. Person” (22 C.F.R. § 120.15) as a: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise a protected individual (including refugees and asylees) due to work areas being subject to export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
