- Meet or exceed annual and quarterly sales targets for Singapore
- Manage and drive distributors to ensure effective market penetration
- Identify prospective distribution partners where appropriate and develop new business/sales in line with growth expectations and product portfolio development
- Meet defined sales budgets by applying strategic selling and channel management methodologies, ensuring maximum coverage of the portfolio in Singapore.
- Develop innovative pathways for portfolios
- Perform high-touch sales activities with hospital customers
- Analyze the market opportunity and size
- Ensure all local regulatory requirements are met and assist in governmental liaison.
- Inform management of all new tenders and drive action plans to secure them.
- Maintain a strong relationship with key opinion leaders within our product portfolio.
- Together with Marketing, develop and implement promotional activities for both portfolios.
- Organize activities to increase general awareness of the medical community within our portfolios
- Develop and launch new products
- Work with the Marketing/Clinical Education department to facilitate and organize product training for all distribution partners on all new products and upgrades.
- Manage client service/warranty claims in accordance with protocol
- As needed, provide marketing and regional teams with field feedback on product design and applications
- Attend appropriate conferences and interact with key stakeholders to maintain competency.
- Prepare periodic business planning reports & forecasts as required and assist with planning processes
- Strong communication, solution selling, and negotiation skills
- Experienced in working in a cross-functional environment and collaborating closely with regional counterparts.
- Working within a dynamic environment which is fast developing. Will need to anticipate changing organizational needs and work to competitive market pressures.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Sciences (e.g. Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology etc.) or Business
- Channel/distributor sales management, business development and/or marketing experience
- Prior experience working in the medical device, consumer healthcare, consumer med-tech, capital equipment, and healthcare consulting.
- Exposure in both B2B & B2C fields will be advantageous
