- Defining an insurance vertical territory and sales strategy for the portfolio.
- Establish a comprehensive partnership strategy with the internal and external ecosystem.
- Managing relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the customer organization(s).
- Business development - build a multi-million dollar portfolio, drive revenues in the identified territory by being the owner of the entire Opportunity Management Cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close. Identifying business opportunities, selling concepts to the client, and influencing the client to give additional business based on demonstrated capability and past performance are included in this process.
- Research and analyze competitors, create proposals and pitches, validate estimates/efforts, deliver presentations to clients and negotiate with them.
- Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to address all people or infrastructure issues that may affect the delivery of the project to the specific client.
- Drive revenue from go-to-market solutions being sponsored by the business unit - responsible for driving revenue from go-to-market solutions sponsored by the business unit.
- Establish an account plan for the key accounts in scope - with information about the relationships required, the opportunities to be pursued, the revenue expected from these opportunities, as well as potential threats and weaknesses to be addressed.
- Facilitate pricing decisions within the framework of the Master Services Agreement.
- Provide necessary input to build future alliances with relevant product vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 7+ years’ experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience.
- Experience in business development in the insurance industry.
- Experience in interacting and building relationships with CXO level clients in the insurance industry.
- Experience with the Global Delivery Model is desirable.
- Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams is desirable.
- Account Manager experience in a rapidly growing insurance client relationship is highly desirable.
- Proposal creation and presentation experience.
- Leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with a wide variety of IT and business consulting engagements is preferred.
