Job Description:
Are you interested in working on the development and maintenance of healthcare technology products? Then perhaps an Application Engineer role with us would be a good fit for you. The Application Engineer will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our solutions. Your role will be to translate our customers' needs into functional and appealing interactive applications and to provide technical expertise by performing hands-on configuration on-site and remotely during installation and integration. During your tenure on our team, you will use various technologies and languages (such as HTML, SQL, T-SQL, and Microsoft.net core 2.2) to develop software that maximizes user experience, and you will work with engineers and product specialists to investigate and resolve any complex issues affecting functionality.

Your days will be filled with…
- Delivering services as part of Ascom Professional Services, including: Analysis of requirements analysis, design, installation, commissioning and hand-over of customer solutions
- Designing and implementing optimal software solutions in terms of functionality, reliability, performance, implementation time, and product production
- Understanding customer and stakeholder requirements and how they translate to software features
- Working with global development teams and product managers to develop software solutions based on specifications
- Develop the front-end of applications with a mobile-responsive design using a variety of languages, including HTML and CSS
- Working closely with Engineering Experts and Product Specialists to troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and resolve complex software issues
And you are…
Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline and a solid background as an application/web/software developer. Possessing proven experience of using SQL and T-SQL to interreact with relational databases and good knowledge of multiple front and back-end languages and libraries (HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, C#, Java, Python and .Net frameworks).
