Role Overview:

Electronic Test and Diagnostics of Complex weapons at System and Subsystem level.

Responsibilities:

• Testing of complex electronic equipment and diagnosis of production test failures at component level
• Identification of corrective actions in a timely manner, allowing Manufacturing to continue production on schedule.
• To facilitate the efficient production of Prime hardware by providing technical support to the Test Operators
• Evaluation of related Test Equipment issues, directing support services to resolve equipment failures
• Evaluation of technical issues in order to develop suggestions for investigations and corrective actions, including process improvements
• Representative of Test Engineering at Defect Review Board meetings to ensure prompt progress of equipment and quality notifications towards corrective action

Skillset/experience required:

• Qualifications of HNC/HND level (Electronics) or equivalent
• Experience in digital and analog electronics manufacturing and testing
• An understanding of RF and microwave technology at the subsystem level would be advantageous
• Planning and organization skills
• The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
