Software Engineer (University Grad) Responsibilities:

• Develop a solid understanding of relevant product areas, codebases, and/or systems
• Proficient in data analysis, programming, and software engineering
• Use modern abstractions and frameworks to produce high-quality code with good test coverage
• Make use of available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on time by exercising strong judgment and problem-solving skills
• Take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity by mastering Facebook's development standards from developing to releasing code
• Seek and give feedback in alignment with Facebook's Performance Philosophy

Minimum Qualifications:

• Coding experience in an industry-standard language (e.g. Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)
• To obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and to maintain that authorization during employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previously demonstrated software engineering experience through internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
• Does or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
