In Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) Digital Manufacturing (DM) Business Segment, we are investing in marketing to accelerate momentum and extend our market leadership. A dynamic, creative, and results-oriented Marketing Director for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) who has experience engaging the enterprise business and IT community is needed. In this role, you will need to communicate with the Analyst community, Global Strategy and Marketing, Sales, as well as Internal Product Development partners. The candidates will help define go-to-market strategies (GTM) and be responsible for outbound and inbound marketing to build reputation, increase awareness, create demand, and accelerate revenue growth.
Tasks:
- Direct the DM segment's Analyst Relations activities with the intention of establishing and maintaining a positive image and position with the Analyst community and the customers.
- Serve as the segment liaison with selected analysts for joint activities and relevant studies (like Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, CIMdata, etc.) promoting DM portfolio offerings
- As a result of analyst reports, work with global portfolio development to develop sales enablement messages
- Serve as DM segment focal point for DISW level analyst activities, and coordinate cross-segment messaging.
- Manage the segment's media opportunities in order to establish and maintain a positive image with potential customers, employees, and the public.
- Partner with Product Marketing leaders across all DM solution areas to align messaging and positioning to effectively communicate key capabilities and benefits to Analysts
- Cntent must be aligned with the messaging and positioning of the DM solution to demonstrate its unique benefits over its competitors
- Interact with the global marketing and sales teams to adopt and execute marketing campaigns, including tracking inquiries and sales opportunities
- Monitoring, analyzing, creating, and sharing responses to market developments, customer behavior, and competitor activities with internal stakeholders in DM with a focus on MOM
- In close collaboration with relevant product development teams, develop messaging and plan market-facing activities
- Support GSCS stakeholders in driving customer advocacy programs
- As a leader, you will listen, contribute, foster collaboration, and focus on stakeholder needs in a matrix organization
- Experience in marketing, communication, or business with a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
- Multi-year experience in the manufacturing industry
- The ability to articulate the value of technology solutions for industry challenges through excellent writing and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- An aptitude for learning new technologies and a background in technology/software
- Ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance in handling challenging business situations
- Proven track record of acquiring new customers and growing new business
- Strong manufacturing domain expertise (especially in Manufacturing Operations Management)
- A master's degree in business or engineering is required
- Knowledge of industrial applications of digital manufacturing solutions
- B2B marketing expertise
- SaaS marketing expertise
