Key Accountabilities:

• Participate in daily scrums, technical sync sessions, etc., with data engineers, application developers and UI/UX designers from your squad.
• Interactions with subject matter experts to develop visualizations, hypotheses and features.
• Analyses and/or models are developed, reviewed, deployed and managed.
• In this step, the product owner gathers requirements, collects feedback on delivered features, and defines a roadmap.
• Data scientists in the chapter can share best practices with each other.
• YT2 (your time squared) innovation time and research time for exploring new products and opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to ethics and delivery frameworks compliant with RR development practices.

Requirements:

• Python and Data bricks experience, preferably with the Azure stack.
• Algorithms for object detection, classification, localization, segmentation, etc. (YOLO-series, Efficient Net, etc.)
• Developing test-driven, maintainable and reusable code using the software development lifecycle.
• Candidates with Linux, Git, or Docker experience are preferred.
• Experimenting with Tableau and PowerBI to visualize data.
• Graduate degree preferably in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computing.
• Experience developing and deploying analytics solutions and machine learning algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with image processing libraries, such as OpenCV and Scikit-image.
• Knowledge of the TensorFlow/PyTorch framework and its applications in deep learning.
• Experience in one of the following areas is highly desirable; gas turbine engines, aircraft engineering, airline operations, or aviation maintenance repair and overhaul.
• Communication skills with technical and business audiences as well as stakeholders in IT and software engineering.
• A structured approach to problem solving within a potentially constrained framework of secure, reliable, responsible, and ethical digital development.
• Collaboration and teamwork, with a willingness to share solutions and best practices between teams.
• Work in an agile dynamic environment and have the capability of learning cross-disciplinary skills.
