Job Description:

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a results-oriented Data Engineer who will be responsible for helping build our data pipelines and will also be participating in setting the right infrastructure and developing the needed tools for our Analytics.

Duties and responsibilities:

The role requires you to:

• Identify, gather, and address technical and design requirements
• Assist in architecting our data platform and developing real-time apps that ingest large volumes of data
• Handles our data pipeline and contributes to our data strategy and execution
• Data collection, processing, and storage infrastructure design, construction, testing, and management
• Developing, customizing, and managing integration tools, monitoring tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
• Competences in algorithms and software architecture
• Using Amazon EMR to run Presto and Spark engines.
• 2+ years' experience using AWS cloud and its resources/services
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases
• Expertise in API development (REST & SOAP protocols) for 2+ years
• Data Engineer with 2+ years' experience
• Data ingestion and real-time processing experience
• Data pipelines and batch processing experience
• Someone with experience with Greenberry and Alteryx is preferred
