Located in Ascendas, ITPL, Chennai, Hubbell Engineering provides computer-aided design and engineering services. Hubbell Business Solutions at Infopark Kochi provide advanced business intelligence, knowledge services, and business process solutions across Hubbell divisions and corporate. The IT Services team is located in Chennai and Kochi. Hubbell Electrical Products LLP, based in Chennai, is capable of manufacturing parts and products for all Hubbell Business Units.

Position Overview:
The Intelligent Automation & RPA business analyst will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, qualifying, documenting and supporting the automation of business processes across the organization. The individual will serve as a key liaison between business process experts, technical staff, and supporting teams (ex. Information Security, Digital Services, Technical Architecture, etc.) that enable automation projects to be completed. To identify automation opportunities and assimilate requirements, he or she must work independently and in workshop setup as needed. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, analytical, have an eye for detail, and have excellent communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To crystallize the automation ideas, create Process Qualification documents
- Assess automation opportunities against the automation rule book
- Acts as a central point of contact between the RPA development team and business process SMEs
- Prepares the business case for automation
- Analyzes and documents business process requirements (in Process Definition Document) for the automation build, including exception handling scenarios and process metrics such as volume, SLA, and cycle time.
- Plan, document, and facilitate customer acceptance testing
- Work with the development team to resolve defects identified by business in customer acceptance testing
- Trains business process SMEs and their teams on automating new processes through robotics
- Supports the remediation of production defects, as needed
Skills and experience:
- Business operations, process documentation, and requirements gathering experience to aid in automation
- Experience with business analysis and detailed requirements documentation (SIPOC approach, etc.) to facilitate automation design
- Communication skills that can be applied both to non-technical and technical audiences
- Facilitate customer acceptance testing and experience planning
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams) proficiency
- Formal training in UiPath RPA software and experience supporting different types of solution designs
- An understanding of SAP environments is preferred
- An understanding of Process Mining, Intelligent Automation, and Conversational AI will be a big plus
- Having experience working in a consulting environment and supporting the delivery of Intelligent Automation solutions will be a plus
