Job Description Summary:
As a Biomedical Technician, you will respond to service calls within a hospital or healthcare system in the Atlanta area. You will evaluate, diagnose, and perform repair and planned maintenance on biomedical equipment, providing service excellence to drive customer satisfaction.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Identify biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, and perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections to support our customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols in order to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Document all work performed.
- To ensure continued customer satisfaction, maintain strong relationships and frequent communication with customers.
- Provide our customers with timely and accurate repairs/maintenance by maintaining quality tools and test equipment.
- Identify and report all customer quality and compliance concerns to the Quality Organization to ensure services are provided with the highest ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participant in the formal GE Healthcare Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.
- A working knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and an understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
- Understanding of schematic diagrams.
- An ability to be available after hours or to work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
- Ability to lift/move up to 35lbs.
