Are you going to be doing anything?
- You will support Relationship Directors in business development activities, business planning, client acquisition, and strategy
- Identify and drive business opportunities with new and existing clients across one or more key account portfolios
- In this position, you will coordinate across Barclays' businesses to leverage the global platform for the benefit of clients, as well as build out your own network
- Assist a more senior member of the team in coordinating, evaluating and executing large structured transactions
- Accounts within various portfolios will be monitored for key risks and trends related to credit, customers, and industry.
- You will demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of Barclays' strategy and team objectives
The kind of person we need:
A BA/BS degree is required
• Experience in corporate and investment banking
An understanding of the business environment in a comparable marketplace involving client relationships
• Demonstrated experience supporting relationships with large multinational clients
The following skills will assist you in the role:
- Previous formal credit training
- Understanding of the client's needs
- The ability to drive for results and be commercially effective
- Solid interpersonal skills and prior experience in sales and networking
