We challenge you to join Philips Healthcare as an Ultrasound Field Service Engineer supporting primarily within the Riverside/San Bernardino area where you will WOW our customers by using your strong technical skills in providing the best in class customer service!
As part of the Service engineering organization you will contribute to providing the right data, context, and approach which will change the way we do business and make a difference for our customers.
You are responsible for (but not limited to):
- Customer relationship management will be achieved through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, service, and maintain customer sites.
- Assist with service repair, preventative maintenance, and field installations.
- Resolving customer issues, communicating with the customer effectively, and involving the appropriate Service and Sales personnel
- Operate under required knowledge of regulatory requirements (Federal and State Radiation performance standards, registration, Quality Systems Regulations, EPA regulations and OSHA regulations
- A problem is defined when data is collected, facts are established, and recommendations are formulated. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables
- NM is included in the territory, as well as other areas as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- BSEE/BSEET preferred, or two years formal education combined with appropriate high tech related experience
- Demonstrated the ability to repair and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
- Rotation of on-call status
- A valid driver's license is required
- Travel up to 50% to the customer site, zone office or designated meeting location.
- The average person drives between 1 and 4 hours a day.
- Up to 40 pounds can be carried or pulled. Test equipment.
- Carry parts weighing a few ounces up to over 100 pounds. (assistance available when lifting items over 50 lbs.).
- Frequently bends, stoops, twists, and turns, and works in unusual positions using full body mobility.
- On occasion, may need to work from ladders or scaffolding.
- This position will require you to meet all customer specific mandates such as vaccinations and screening tests.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
