Key Responsibilities:
- Whenever necessary, supervise survey operations from the office/site.
- Preparation of summary reports based on geotechnical & geophysical data.
- Marine consultant(s) shall review sufficiency of existing data/ surveys required for safe deployment of offshore rig(s) and propose & plan requirement of offshore well site/ location surveys/ works like Seabed survey, Bathymetric survey; shallow seismic survey for shallow gas/soil compaction/ jack up rigs leg penetration and Site-specific Geotechnical Survey & Soil coring.
- The purpose of this project is to assist in finalizing the scope of work for location-related services and to assist in the process for awarding geo-technical jobs and surveys in the offshore field.
- Examining and interpreting the reports / data from the above studies and finalizing recommendations and action plans.
- Support site-specific surveys, mobilization and interlocation movement of rig(s), including safe jacking up.
- Using Geo-Technical Surveys, Geo Physical & Environmental Data, carry out the Rig Deployment studies to evaluate the suitability of offshore drilling rigs for placement at specific locations.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in the oil and marine industries.
- Specialized training for geotechnical & geophysical work.
- B. Sc. in geology, geophysics or engineering is preferred.
