About the Company:
Parsons provides digitally enabled solutions for the defense, security, and infrastructure markets. During nearly 75 years of experience, Parsons has delivered cyber/converged security, technology-based intellectual property, and other innovative services to federal, regional, and local government agencies, as well as to private industrial customers worldwide. Parsons is a drug-free, equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity. Minority, female, disabled, protected veteran, LGBTQ+. Founded in 1944, Parsons Corporation --- a digitally enabled solutions provider --- is focused on the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets. We are uniquely qualified to offer cyber/converged security, technology-based intellectual property, and other innovative services to federal, regional, and local government agencies, as well as private industrial customers around the world. In the current market, Alternative Project Delivery is the most prevalent procurement model, no longer being as "alternative". Integrated Delivery - the link between design and construction - is something we like to call "Integrated Delivery", and we consider ourselves a leader in the APD field. Using augmented reality (AR) technology, Parsons engineers collaborated with software company Autodesk to visualize the design of the rail and its placement in the field. Using virtual models of the railway and its stations, where they will eventually be built, designers were able to confirm existing and proposed utility locations, and review changes with stakeholders live on site.
