Job Description:
As a result of recent project wins, our North Queensland region is expanding rapidly. As such, we are now seeking applications from experienced Civil Engineers who wish to take advantage of their technical expertise and client-facing skills to propel their careers forward.
The role can be based either in our Gladstone or Rockhampton offices, where, as a member of our dedicated Civil team, you will partner with your colleagues on a variety of projects in the public and private sectors, across a regional client portfolio.
You will bring the following to the team
The role can be based either in our Gladstone or Rockhampton offices, where, as a member of our dedicated Civil team, you will partner with your colleagues on a variety of projects in the public and private sectors, across a regional client portfolio.
In collaboration with the discipline team leader and as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, you will be involved in the following activities:
- Project development and technical direction for the following types of projects;
- Infrastructure in civil engineering
- Subdivisions (urban and rural),
- Design of Roads (urban and rural),
- Storm water drainage and earthworks
- Construction of a building site,
- Reticulation of water and sewerage (desirable)
- Working with a team on those projects from concept through construction, including design, management, site work, and construction supervision.
- Engaging directly with clients, creating or developing client relationships, and being an integral part of the team assisting with both the winning and delivering of projects.
You will bring the following to the team
- Obtaining an Engineering Degree (Civil) and progressing towards becoming a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
- Written reports and demonstrated strong communication skills
- Focus on quality and attention to detail
- Communication and interpersonal skills that are excellent
- Focus on the client, eager to network, develop, and grow the business
- Experience managing, winning, and delivering projects across a range of market sectors
