Description of the job
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual seeking experience and will provide support for permitting, design, and construction of a wide variety of technically challenging projects, primarily for industrial, utility, and renewable energy clients. Located in Dickson City, TRC's Dickson City office is a vibrant, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment where you can experience a broad spectrum of professional experiences with a team-oriented work environment.
The job entails the following duties:
Perform calculations and develop designs along with our design and engineering team.
Stormwater management systems and erosion control facilities for civil engineering projects.
Apply for local land development approvals and state environmental permits.
Conduct engineering calculations to support designs, including stormwater and general civil aspects.
Create designs and plan sheets in Civil 3D.
Prepare reports, plans, and specifications for client and governmental approvals and construction.
Positive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.

The requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or related field.
EIT certification is required.
Experience designing civil-sites, including stormwater management systems, road alignment, site grading, and other similar tasks.
Expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
Experience with HydroCAD or another stormwater modeling/hydrology software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
A valid driver's license with no major violations.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Possess strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications preferred
Qualifications below are highly desired, but not required, in addition to the basic qualifications:
Experience with projects involving renewable energy (wind, solar, etc.)
Independently analyzing and interpreting data regarding site uses and topography to develop stormwater management plans and best management practices.
Design and development of erosion and sediment control plans.
Experience in site grading and contouring.
