Job Description:
Siemens Digital Industries Software (DI SW) provides design, simulation, and manufacturing software solutions for a wide variety of market segments. We use our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software to design and manufacture Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many other items we see every day.
The Technology and Applications group at Siemens DISW is looking for an intern whose passion lies in the Simcenter STAR-CCM+ flagship product. A lithium-ion battery intern will contribute to the definition and testing of new electrochemical simulation models.
It will be your responsibility to develop and test electrochemistry-based models using Simcenter STAR-CCM while documenting and presenting findings to partners over a period of six months in summer and autumn of 2021.
- The degree must be in a closely related field, such as Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Thermodynamics or transport modeling of electrochemistry or mixtures
- Communications skills that are excellent
- Think critically and pay attention to details
- Having good organizational skills
- Reading, writing, and speaking English fluently
