Summary

The Global Supply Chain Accelerated Development Program provides participants with the appropriate training and learning experiences that will prepare them for their first career position within the company.

Accelerated Development Program participant host-site assignment can be at any Global Supply Chain Division location.

Major Tasks Include:
  • Orientation to our Company and Division, including a visit to our corporate headquarters in Cleveland, OH
  • Completing an overview of paint plant operations, specialty plant operations, and distribution center operations (warehouse)
  • Utilizing online modules to conduct a complete Supply Chain overview (from product concept to finished products)
  • The completion of Transactional Lean, Accelerated Root Cause, Standard Work, and Six Sigma training
  • Working on the Annual Operating Budget, reviewing books, closing site books, physical inventory, and daily variance detail tracking reports
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, transfer pricing, special projects, monthly P&L summaries for anomalies, investigate and report findings to management
Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum age of 18 years is required
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
  • An accredited Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Excel experience is a must
  • A minimum GPA of 2.8 is required
  • If you are a graduate and complete the program, you will be expected to relocate to another state after graduation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Previous experience as an intern/co-op with Sherwin-Williams
  • Experience with finance/accounting internships/co-opse
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Solution-finding skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • A solid understanding of project management is essential
