Our group specializes in automating engineering simulations and optimizing the design process using advanced machine learning and data analytics in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE). Siemens Technology Russia is seeking a highly motivated professional who can contribute to the R&D activities of Siemens Technology Russia in the area of advanced multidisciplinary and multiphysics simulations of industrial equipment.  

What are my responsibilities?

• Execution and management of R&D projects, including communication with customers, prospecting for potential projects, and promoting R&D products.
• Documenting the obtained R&D results in reports and presentations

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• MS/PhD in mechanical engineering or similar
• Proven experience in working with Python frameworks for data analytics (Numpy, Pandas, Dask, etc.), machine learning (Scikit-Learn, Pytorch, Tensor flow, etc.), and visualization (Matplotlib, Plotly, PyQT, VTK)
• Knowledge of at least one of the following physical domains: computational fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, acoustics, electromagnetics, system simulations
• The ability to speak Russian and English fluently (as well as some German) is a plus
• A good communicator
• A working knowledge of agile project management
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to switch between several tasks at once

What would be beneficial?

• Proven experience in working with CAD/CAE, data management, optimization, and/or system simulation software (preferably based on Siemens PLM solutions)
• International experience
