Analyst, People Analytics:

In this role, you will be part of a team that provides data and analytics across multiple business units within Mastercard's global regions, as well as strategic decision support.
Mastercard will benefit from this individual's expertise in analytics and program management to make data-driven decisions about talent. Competent candidates will be detail-oriented and structured, able to identify opportunities to scale and standardize analytical outputs within matrixed organizations.

Role:
  • Serving as the first point of contact for global stakeholders regarding operational reporting and metrics
  • Supports monthly headcount reporting and analysis with the Financial Planning & Analysis CoE
  • Develop scalable reporting solutions and visualizations in partnership with senior analysts within People Data & Analytics
  • Understands the underlying query or challenge for which data are requested beyond the requestor's request
  • Working with Data Management and HR Systems, validate and enforce the integrity of people data
  • Performs program management support for performance reviews, talent reviews, and employee experience surveys as necessary
  • Shows exceptional judgment in handling highly sensitive personal information essential.
All About You:
  • Experience in working with organizational/workforce data
  • Effectively manage ad-hoc requests and reduce their volume by developing creative strategies
  • Work experience with Excel, including creation of pivot tables, formulas and formatting, VLOOKUPs, and graphs
  • Communicate technical results to nontechnical audiences
  • Cooperation skills between cross-functional teams and the ability to work in different time zones
  • The ability to adapt rapidly to changes in direction or priority of the business; flexible and responsive
  • A strong sense of self-awareness and an openness to feedback
  • Communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are excellent
  • Working within the confines of data governance and privacy standards
  • Multitasking experience in a time-pressured environment
  • Database query experience (SQL is preferred)
DESIRABLE:
  • Working knowledge of HRIS software (Workday is preferred)
  • A track record of building relationships across large organizations
  • Data management and analysis experience using tools such as R, SQL, and Python
  • Knowledge of ETL tools such as Alteryx or Informatica (e.g., Alteryx)
  • An understanding of BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, and Domo)
Education:
  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Psychology, Management, Analytics, or a related field
