Through the development of function excellence among Waldorf Astoria Kuwait Team Members, a Learning & Development Manager will act as a change catalyst for cultural and organizational transformation.
What will I be doing?
By supporting training through Hilton's comprehensive training framework, you serve as a vital part of the Human Resources function. A Training Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Facilitate the development of functional excellence and the development of leadership skills in departments
- Serve as a change catalyst for the hotel's cultural and organizational transformation
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of all hotel activities pertaining to training
- Supporting the development of people, teams, careers, and job training
- New Team Members - Induct, coach, and mentor them
- Provide daily support to operational departments by interacting with hotel leaders responsible for people development
- Work with the department to deliver leadership and organizational development programs
- Each department should conduct a learning and development review
- Preparation of the hotel's annual training plans and training calendars.
What are we looking for?
As a Learning and Development Manager, I am dedicated to serving Hilton brands and to working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Knowledge of modern learning and development tools and techniques.
- Communication and presentation skills that are excellent
- People management skills that are excellent
- A strong command of English is essential. An Arabic proficiency is preferred.
- Interpersonal skills demonstrated
- Attitude of positivity
- Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service both internally and externally.
- You should have at least one year's experience within a luxury brand, such as Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels, or LXR Hotels.
- Grooming standards that are excellent
- Flexibility in responding to a variety of work situations
- Stress-resistance abilities
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Computer proficiency at an intermediate level, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
- Presentation and grooming of the highest standard
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Tertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degree, in Training or Human Resources
