What About The Job:

We are seeking a Football Systems Operator to work on-site at football stadiums throughout the UAE, providing critical support for our clients. Over time, you will be expected to be involved in more competitions through the MEA Region and internationally, including the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, AFC and FIFA World Cups.

We will install and operate our technology at matches as part of this role. As we work whenever there is a football game, you should be prepared to work long days at weekends and midweek evenings.

Our VAR service is our main focus as a top-tier football service. The more experienced you become in the role, the more you will be exposed to various other services.

As well as ensuring that you are equipped with the training, support, and exposure to our systems, we will also support your development and progression to help make an impact on what we do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prior to the match, I plan the pre-match day and travel to the stadium
• Integrate Hawk-Eye technology into a stadium (this involves physically demanding work, such as setting up cameras and running cable)
• Following standard procedures to check the systems before matches
• Providing on-site support to stadium staff, match officials, and broadcasters
• Work with match officials and provide them with replays during live matches so they can make vital decisions when they request replays
• Monitoring, diagnosing, and reporting any issues encountered with hardware and software
• Representing our company on-site and taking responsibility for our system
• As a result, we build and maintain hardware and equipment during the off-season
• Assistance with product and service installation and testing

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• A solid technical foundation
• An advanced degree or relevant experience in a science, technology, mathematics, or engineering field is preferred
• A skilled analytical and problem-solver who is bright and enterprising
• Taking initiative and being proactive
• A time management skill and the ability to work in a live broadcasting environment under high pressure are essential
• A professional and approachable way of communicating with clients and customers
• To drive one of our vans, a valid driving license is required
• Knowledge of VT/replay technology, or experience in technical production for live events, is desirable
• Traveling within the country and working abroad
• This schedule is flexible and flexible enough to react to a fixture list that is constantly changing.
• Work will be done over weekends/bank holidays due to the nature of our business
• Proficiency in English (advantageous if you know another language)
