Orthopedic medical education and device company Arthrex are global companies. We have a team of product engineers, design transfer engineers, test engineers, and product managers working for us in Naples, Florida. As part of this position, the selected candidate(s) will interact with engineers across several product portfolios to test and verify products, create and implement test fixtures, automate test methodologies, and collect and analyze data in order to better understand and characterize our products. In addition, the selected candidate(s) will help to develop and implement the above functions throughout the Imaging and Resection department, which includes the Shaver, RF, Power, and Fluids product portfolios. Candidates are encouraged to pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar degree. The ability to explain how tests were executed and what the results of the tests were is strongly preferred.

Main Objective:
Contribute to the Imaging & Resection (I&R) Engineering Lab's design and testing activities by developing new products, making design and manufacturing changes, and improving the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The developer of test methods (development of logging procedures, execution of validations) for different test methods.
- To determine best setting options for a specific product, conduct research or Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Identify the best settings and products for specific applications for shaver blades by developing performance testing.
- Performing quality assurance and product validation (QABP) for existing products.
- Support the reliability testing of existing I&R product families in order to improve the products.
- Write clear and easily comprehensible reports and protocols based on data analysis.

Education and Experience:
It is necessary to be working toward an undergraduate degree majoring in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal directions.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
