- The responsibility of maintaining the facility equipment to performance specifications, including performing and/or coordinating instrument maintenance and performance evaluations.
- Support the advancement of relevant research fields by providing services to ASU and outside researchers.
- Collaboration with outside researchers and ASU. These activities include, but are not limited to, the operation of laboratory equipment, data analysis, and dissemination of scientific results.
- Organize the scheduling of instruments and maintain the iLAB and Biosciences Core equipment, as well as instruct users on how to use them.

- Users of pre-clinical imaging techniques can receive scientific instruction, consultation, and training.
- Authorizing trained independent and semi-independent users to use facility resources after determining their qualifications.
- Integrated various bio-imaging resources under Biosciences management alongside the Biosciences Operations Director.
- Contributing to the development of budgets and a management of the financial aspects of Biosciences Operations.
- Providing support for other instruments, including those provided by the Biosciences Core, together with the Operations Director.
- Conduct, supervise, or assist visitors with tours in coordination with the Operations Director and other core staff.
- Applicants must have a PhD in Physics, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in small animal MRI and MR pulse sequence programming.
- 5 years of post-PhD research experience
It is highly desirable to have a history of research collaborations in the MRI field.
