Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager to support the team at Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. 

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Shift:

• This position is for 1st shift
• Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
• This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
• This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
• This is a NASA safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 1+ years of leadership or management experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution System
• 1+ years of experience developing and implementing process improvements
• Experience applying and implementing lean manufacturing principles in a production system
• 1+ years of experience leading, checking, and implementing manufacturing plans
• Experience developing project execution plans, schedules and budgets
• 1+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employee.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience in a managerial role within Aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation.
• Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay range: $96,900 – $131,100
