About the Company:

Job Description:

• Electrical Engineer , preferably, with experience both in design office and on construction site. Experience gained in Electrical Design Engineering and construction for refinery, petrochemical, Oil & Gas and chemical plants.

Mandatory requirements:

• Good industry code understanding ( International codes & standards IEC, IEEE, BS, API, NEC, NFPA, NEMA other International Design Codes and Major Oil Company norms & practices, etc. for Electrical Systems ).
• Development of COMPANY standards and COMPANY standard drawings of all electrical equipment up to 33KV Voltage levels.
• Master Plan, FEED studies, preparation of FEED, ITB (invitation to bid), and LSTK (lump sum turnkey) tender package.
• Design & development, development of detailed drawings& documents, Relay Co-Ordination Study, Electrical Protection schemes.
• Equipment sizing calculations & selection of all Electrical Systems/Equipment, Material procurement and subcontracting.
• Ability to d evelop and review estimates& schedules, progress reports, including manpower forecasts.
• Resolving difficult engineering complexity, fault diagnosis/Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge in HAZOP Study, Risk Assessment Report and QHSE studies.
• Development of equipment/substation layouts based on Hazardous area and other engineering criteria and also complete Electrical Power Distribution System for Oil-Gas/Petrochemical project.
• Prepares Load schedules, SLD’s, Cable Schedules, Equipment Layouts, Cable route Layouts.

Advantageous:

• Field surveying experience for construction
• Construction experience
• Previous Technip experience
• PMC experience
• Experience in resolving technical queries and site related problems

Software knowledge:

• ETAP(latest version)
• Ability to carry out design and drafting assignments using a methodical approach and systematic self-checking skills with minimal supervision
• Checks designs and drawings of design team for accuracy and conformity to technical specifications and procedures
• Promote alternative solutions for SLD, SCHEMATIC drawings / layout design to find cost and time effective solutions.
• Experience evaluating vendor’s proposals and bid documents
