Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!

The Motion Control Service Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Motion Control Low Voltage drives, motors and Automation system for a variety of industrial applications predominantly in the Water Industry, Petrochemicals and Oil & Gas sectors.

• Product selection, engineering and commissioning of Drives and Drive Applications.
• Should have knowledge on Motors and their selection and applications.
• Should have basic knowledge of Siemens Automation products and systems.
• Installation and configuration, and documentation.
• Should be able to visit site – extensive travel and be able to take independent decisions while solving issues at site.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

• Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical and Electronics engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Siemens Drives, Motion Control Applications and Basic Automation systems
• Hands on experience in commissioning, and troubleshooting of Drive & Automation Systems
• Knowledge on Motors – Selection and application
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as good presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel
• Must be highly motivated and a team player; must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity
• Must be available to respond for emergency and relief assignments

• SINAMICS S120, S210
• SINAMICS G120, G130 & G150
• SIMATIC MICRO-DRIVE
• SINAMICS DCM
• SIMOTICS
• Discontinued Products (e.g. Simoreg DC-Master, Masterdrive, Dynavert)
• Engineering and implementation of Drive Technology applications mainly based on SINAMICS Drive Control Chart (DCC) or Open Architecture (OA / SINAMICS TEC)
• SIMOTION SCOUT, SCOUT standalone and SCOUT TIA
• Basics of SIMATIC S7-400, S7-300, S7-1200 PLC Systems and WinCC SCADA System
