- Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Solid experience in HVAC sales or related field, preferably in balancing and control valve solutions.
- Identifying and building strong business relationships with consultants, contractors and end users
- Good application knowledge on district energy concepts and Chill water systems.
- Managing sales pipeline, and development
- Generating and cultivating effective long-term relationships with customers through regular and meaningful contact
- Developing and executing feasible sales plans plus building a comprehensive customer database
- Developing, qualifying, following up, and closing sales opportunities, reporting all in the Sales Pipeline
- Providing input for the demand plan and rolling forecast
- Conducting product presentations, technical advisory, etc.
- Increasing sales opportunities and use of Danfoss product offerings with existing customers, by up-selling and cross-selling
- Supplying technical and product information
- Monitoring markets and competitors
- Participating in national and regional sales meetings along with trade shows as required

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in HVAC sales, preferably in the field of district cooling or relevant sales in Control valves and energy meters
- Clear understanding of value selling is an important success factor
- Experience in CRM tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build a relationship quickly and effectively
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Works independently with minimum supervision
- Is a team player and collaborates well with others in a matrix organization
